Funding has been provided to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Moving Image Archive (MARMIA) from Maryland Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020. MARMIA would like to express our extreme gratitude for this funding that has helped us to stay in our Impact Hub Baltimore office space and to maintain as many operations as safely possible. The closures made necessary by the public health crisis had threatened our forward momentum and progress, but this funding provided critical support to enable us to hold our position through the pandemic and maintain our momentum.
